All information about the Wirtshaus Wiesn in Munich

The first Munich WirtshausWiesn starts on Saturday September 19th, 2020. The campaign was started on the initiative of the large Oktoberfest innkeepers and the city center innkeepers in order to create a balance to this year's Oktoberfest. Even though it is the first edition of this event and is only taking place in this way due to the current situation, the first Oktoberfest in 1810 was actually of a similar nature. There was a horse race on the Theresienwiese and people drank at the surrounding inns. This tradition will now be brought into 2020.
